Breitling Montbrillant Legende

Faithful to the aeronautical spirit of Breitling, Baselworld 2010 saw the release of the latest watch in the emblematic Navitimer collection with the Montbrillant Legend Limited.  One of the largest watches in the collection at an imposing 47mm it has a presence you can feel on your wrist as well as visually filling your senses.

You will turn a few heads wearing this watch out on the town.  Crafted so that the case and bracelet flow into each other in one smooth line with a bezel that looks a bit like a gear, it is a limited edition piece.

Your metal choices are steel or steel and gold, either way you are getting a beautiful look.  Features include the bi-directional circular slide rule and a conversion scale for the main aviation weights and measures on the caseback for quick reference for you jet setters.

Driving this impressive timepiece is the Breitling 23 self-winding mechanical movement with a power reserve of 42 hours is water-resistant to 3 bars.  Date window is at the 6 o’clock position.

There is a lot of data on the face of this watch, but it is masterfully placed for clear reading.  Inspired by the design of the 1940’s, components such as the dial, the skeletanized hands and central 1/100th of an hour display, horizontal totalizers at 9 and 3 o’clock are traditional to that period.
