The balance, balance-spring and escapement are contained within a carriage spinning on its axis, a construction which compensates for the variations that occur when a watch is in a vertical position.  Its heart is in the shape of hand-wound Breitling Calibre 18B, a tourbillon chronograph movement exclusive to Breitling for Bentley. Not only that,  its central hand is uniquely designed to revolve around the dial in half a minute instead of the usual 60 seconds assuring precise read-off of the fractions of a second, otherwise known as the ’30-second’ chronograph mechanism. It is also equipped with a 15-minute totalizer and a pointer-type date display.

Quite distinctly, such luxuries are rare to find. Rarer in this case as only a few dozen of Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon is assigned to be made by Breitling with no more than two a month and each one different from the other. Naturally then, you get to choose the case material (from platinum, yellow gold, rose gold or white gold), the dial color and the shade of the leather strap. The precious wooden ring on the caseback also has option of six different veneers, including burl walnut and madrona; left to be chosen at the fancy of its owner. All this to ensure that you never see an identical Bentley Mulliner Tourbillon in your life.
