Breitling 40 year Anniversary Chrono-Matic QP Limited Edition Men’s Watch Review
History repeats itself. Sometimes about a hundred and twenty five times. That’s the exact number of Breitling’s 40 year anniversary limited edition Chrono-Matic QP. And once you read and understand what it signifies and what it brings to the table, there wouldn’t be much reasoning left to why it shouldn’t be added to your spectacular time collection.
Celebrating 40 years of the launch of first selfwinding chronograph movement by Breitling, Chrono-Matic QP conjures up the same classic retro appeal of its original predecessor. And does so in style, with a red gold case, black or panamerican bronze dial and a choice of leather straps.
Keeping up with its family lineage of ultra large ultra plush watches, it flaunts itself in 49 mm diameter. The Chrono-Matic QP is a power house with almost 500 individual intricate parts working together to bring to you this ultimate time machine. The movement is no less than COSC certified Breitling Caliber 29 with ¼th of a second chronograph, 30 minute and a 12 hour totalizer. Its perpetual calendar marks the date, the day, the week, the month, the season and the moon phases for you. And it automatically adjusts to the leap year unlike its peer Chrono-Matic 1461.
Considering it was launched in 2009, about a year ago from now, you need to hurry if you really want one of the Breitling’s 40 year anniversary limited edition Chrono-Matic QPs. There might still be a handful left.
